Two Guys and a LOTRO Car will be at the King Richard’s Faire in Carver, MA Saturday, September 15h! So if you’re in the Massachusetts area and missed our first outing, come check out the car and get your picture take with it!

We’ll be arriving between 12:30 and 1pm EST, and will be somewhere near the entrance.

We are almost home! On this last day of the our journey, we have revised our schedule one last time. DC’s not the easiest place to get around, here’s our current current schedule:

Sorry for no update yesterday, we were both exhausted on the road and we didn’t get into DC until 12:30 AM. We have a lot of pictures still to be uploaded and will be organizing those today and tomorrow.

We crossed two states, two time zones today, due to losing two hours in one day, our schedule today’s very crunched and we just make it into the hotel! We are now at the edge of Oklahoma state in the city of Erick. Regardless, we were glad to make it to Albuquerque, NM today and met Darmoor from Ghallanda DDO! He said he’s too hooked on DDO right now to play LOTRO, but we gave him some LOTRO swags anyway, we love players from all of our games!

Also, per Darmoor’s excellent suggestion, we had a late lunch at the Frontier Restaurant since the Central Connection Cafe was closed. We had some excellent and well-priced Mexican food. If you are ever in ABQ, do try it out

By popular demand, we’ve added Springfield, Missouri to our itinerary, and we’ll be at the local Dairy Queen tomorrow. Check out the itinerary to the right for the address and time!

On another note regarding our itinerary, we’ve made some adjustments to the rest of our trip. If you’re planning on coming out to meet us somewhere, be sure to check the itinerary before you leave to make sure you’ve got the current schedule. Any changes are marked with an *.

Today was rather uneventful, driving from Vegas to Grand Canyon really is interesting. You go from the height of material civilization to almost all nature. We drove over Hoover Dam, which was very awesome. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get any pics with the car at Grand Canyon because the parking lot’s far. Charles Daisy was too terrified of the Grand Canyon’s height to even get near the edge. He also kept saying the vultures would get him if he gets close.

We just arrived at Galaxy Diner right now and will be heading to the hotel afterwards. We will try to upload some more pics tonight!

We just left LA and got some nice pics. Charles Daisy said he wanted a spot on the street. We pointed and laughed. He wasn’t very happy about that. And then the Nazgul complained that he’s really warm in the black cloak. Why did we pick him up again?

Anyway, we had a hard time finding a good spot to take a picture of the Hollywood sign WITH the car. We will be posting them later. We will be in Irvine in about 45 minutes, and then we will be off to Vegas!

Don’t forget our stop tonight at the top level of MGM Grand Parking Lot at 8:00 PM (ish)!

We are currently in the break period of our journey. We were at Russian River yesterday so all day we had no signal. We had a good night sleep last night and hopefully tonight as well! We will be back on the road bright and early tomorrow starting at 6 AM. Here’s the projected arrival times for tomorrow. We hope to see you there!

Oh, and don’t forget we will be at the Marina Green Park in San Francisco tonight at 8 PM local.

Well, we hit our first real snag today. We decided to get up early, so as not to be tardy to our Portland, OR Appointment.

Lady Luck was not on our side (hopefully this changes before we get to Las Vegas!) as we checked out of the hotel at 5:30am, and hurried to the parking garage where we had parked the car… and was greeted with a locked gate. We had not noticed last evening that the garage does not open until 7am on Saturday’s. YOU MEAN WE COULD HAVE HAD AT LEAST ANOTHER HOUR OF SLEEP? Well, thank Lurlene for citywide wi-fi!

We’re going to be between 60 and 90 minutes late to all points south today, unfortunately. We apologize for the inconvenience. We’ll try to email all of those who contacted us.

Going through Montana also proves to be difficult in maintaining internet connection. We were working on a post and connection dropped for an hour as we re-entered Yellowstone Park. We should be here for a bit now as we can see civilizations. To Seattle!

Driving through Wyoming right now. What beautiful scenery! Lots of beautiful fields and mountains and cows as far as the eye can see.

We’ll be posting some pictures in a few hours and a video on Mt Rushmore.

We had to make a slight schedule change for Old Faithful. We’ll be visiting there tomorrow morning at 8am. We felt that it would be to dark for a visit at 8pm. We’re also going to try and stop in Cody, WY to meet some fans at ACE HARDWARE around 6pm. Come out and see us!
