We’re still en route to Las Vegas, but earlier today we met some great people.

Stopping at the famous Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles today, we saw the famous Capitol Records building, part of the Hollywood walk of fame. Charles insisted he had a star on the walk, but we didn’t believe him until he showed us!

After seeking out the famous Hollywood sign, we headed on to Irvine to meet some fans of the game and have lunch. Dagaz Ulf and Gurri were kind enough to meet with us in the hot sun, and Dagaz Ulf brought us donuts! Then, it was off to Las Vegas!

We just left LA and got some nice pics. Charles Daisy said he wanted a spot on the street. We pointed and laughed. He wasn’t very happy about that. And then the Nazgul complained that he’s really warm in the black cloak. Why did we pick him up again?

Anyway, we had a hard time finding a good spot to take a picture of the Hollywood sign WITH the car. We will be posting them later. We will be in Irvine in about 45 minutes, and then we will be off to Vegas!

Don’t forget our stop tonight at the top level of MGM Grand Parking Lot at 8:00 PM (ish)!

We’re departing San Francisco right now, and are a little sad. We certainly enjoyed ourselves here, and it was nice to have a little rest. We saw Union Square and Alcatraz, and since the Golden Gate Bridge was completely and utterly enshrouded in fog last evening, we stopped there this morning to get a quick shot of it in the new day’s sunrise, and an only partially hidden bridge.

Last night, we met Volras, Lucilla and Corentin from the Penumbra and Mithril Crowns guilds, all of whom play on Elendimir. They were a great group of people and drove all the way from San Jose to see the car! Lucilla was particularly excited to meet Charles Daisy, and had brought along a long lost cousin to reunite them.

In all, San Francisco is a great place, and we can’t wait to come back!

Next stop: LA and Hollywood, on the famous Hollywood and Vine!

We saw some of the most beautiful scenery of our lives yesterday. We’re working on splicing the panoramic pictures for posting later today. For now, here’s some videos!

It’s 12:30 EST and we’re getting ready to call it a night to get some much needed rest for tomorrows very long trip to Mount Rushmore, SD.Today, we arrived fairly early in Chicago and saw the sights and spent quite a bit of town showing off the car downtown.

Charles Daisy kept complaining about some man in black, but we think he’s just driving too much.

Eventually we found a nice place in front of the Sears Tower to park and take some pictures. We handed out some T-shirts and swag too. We’re pretty tired, but happy to have met some neat folks today. Check out the gallery for some more pics! (link is to your right)

In the rainy morning, we woke up red-eyed because we got in Cleveland late last night. We got some pictures of the car in front of the Cleveland Browns Stadium and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! We even got a bonus picture of it with the Linkin Park tour bus!

We just left Sandusky and got a picture of the car in front of the Cedar Point sign. We don’t have time to go in the park unfortunately, as we both are roller coasters fanatics and used to go to the park multiple times a year when we lived closer to it (we both moved to Massachusetts for Turbine). We are currently en route to Chicago, IL.

I am messing around with the gallery right now. The simple gallery page is proving just a tad bit hard to update, so I am looking into other solutions. Stay tuned for the batch of photos from yesterday (and probably some from today).

Ray got a little camera shy on his first video blog, but got much better on the second try. The videos will only get better, so stay tuned!
